1. About us

Pharmacy Hub is a marketplace that connects customers in South Africa with registered community pharmacies. We do not dispense medicine ourselves. All prescription medicine is dispensed by the pharmacy you choose, under supervision of a pharmacist registered with the South African Pharmacy Council (SAPC).

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and resident in South Africa to place an order. By creating an account you confirm that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Prescriptions (Schedules 2–6)

Schedule 2 to Schedule 6 medicine requires a valid prescription issued by a registered prescriber. You agree to upload a clear image of the original prescription at checkout. The dispensing pharmacist may refuse to dispense if the prescription is invalid, expired, or already filled.

4. Payment and pricing

Prices are quoted in South African Rand and include 15% VAT unless stated. At launch the only payment option is "Pay on collection or delivery" directly to the pharmacy.

5. Delivery and collection

Delivery times and fees are set by each pharmacy and shown before you confirm. Collection orders are held for 48 hours from the time the pharmacy accepts the order.

6. Returns

For health and safety reasons, dispensed medicine cannot be returned once it has left the pharmacy, except where the law requires otherwise.

7. Limitation of liability

Pharmacy Hub provides the platform "as is". We are not responsible for clinical decisions, dispensing errors or stock errors made by individual pharmacies. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under South African law.
